What is Mydoh?

Mydoh is a money management app designed to assist parents as they begin to introduce their children to financial literacy. Mydoh empowers families to tackle financial concepts through a hands-on and interactive experience, with the ultimate goal of building confidence and independence that their kids can apply to the real world! The Mydoh experience intersects the digital and physical worlds that today’s kids live in, by offering both a digital platform and a physical Smart Cash Card! 🎉

The App:
Parents and their children sign up and each have their own accounts. Parents can assign chores, set allowance, and monitor spending and purchasing habits. On the child side, kids can make purchases independently, learn trivia, set goals, and complete their assigned chores for the week!

The Smart Cash Card:
The digital and physical Smart Cash Card gives children the opportunity to make independent purchases, with oversight from their parents. The purchases can be done both in store and online! The digital card is available to use online and the physical card is available to use in stores by tapping or inserting the card anywhere VISA is accepted.

Parents:
Mydoh provides parents with oversight: Fund your kid’s card, view their balance and spending activity, react to purchases, and start conversations, teach the value of earning through chores, and even view learning progression through the app’s Trivia feature – all in real time.

Kids:
Children earn money by completing tasks, receiving an allowance, or through one-time payment transfers. They can set savings goals, track their spending, and learn different financial concepts through the app.
