Mydoh Smart Cash Card

How do I explain the Mydoh Smart Cash Card to my kids?

How do I explain the Mydoh Smart Cash Card to my kids?

For some kids, the Mydoh Smart Cash Card could be the first card they have in their name, and understanding what all the letters and numbers mean can seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be! Mydoh aims to make financial literacy as simple and seamless a process as possible and hopes to equip families with the necessary information to do so.

The image below provides a breakdown of all the information that is provided on the Mydoh cards, as well as their definitions and uses.

The card number is the long list of numbers above your name on the card. No two card numbers are the same, as it is used to identify the card itself.

The expiry date is the numbers in the format XX/XX. The expiration date tells you when your card will expire. Before your child’s card expires, Mydoh will automatically reissue and update the Smart Cash Card in your child’s wallet, free of charge.

The CVV is your security code, which is typically needed for when you’re buying something online.

All the card information can be found by selecting on the digital card details within the child app, but the only visible information on the Mydoh physical card is the cardholder’s name (your child’s name) and the expiry date. For more information, please click here.
